The final date to respond to the deer survey is July 10th. If you haven’t received a survey in the mail, you may contact the Village Clerk’s office at 631-549-8893 to obtain a copy or you may respond to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/P6MYJBZ. The Village has implemented Suffolk County’s Code Red Emergency Notification System. The Code Red system will be utilized when the Lloyd Harbor Police Department needs to inform Village residents of an emergency situation. Notifications can be made to home phones, cell phones, and e-mail addresses. A Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) and Teletypewriter (TYY) device can also be used to receive notifications. The Suffolk County Department of Fire, Rescue & Emergency Services (FRES) are the administrators of the Code Red system. To sign up for notifications, residents can click on the above image, which is linked to the Code Red website.

Tree Removal Permits Required
Spring is in the air and many residents are turning their attention to sprucing up their lawns and landscapes. The Village requires permits for tree removals and major pruning. Tree-trimming and cutting businesses need to be registered with the Village. A list of registered contractors is available at the Village Hall. Please make sure that you have secured a permit for tree removal and that your contractor is currently registered with the Village. Permit and arborist registration forms are available under Forms on this website as well as at the Village Hall.
